Built between 1956 and 1959 the name Galfa derives from the two streets where tower has is facades GALvani and FAra streets.The GALFA TOWER originally hosted the service centre and headquarter of the BANCA POPOLARE DI MILANO (est 1865) and nowdays converted in a top city hotel with amazing wiev on the city skyline managed by spanish MELIA HOTEL COMPANY.
