MILAN ROYAL VILLA

THE ROYAL VILLA OF MILAN,built between 1790-1796 also called Villa Belgiojoso was the residence of Earl Lodovico Barbiano Belgiojoso.Inside you can find one of the most art collection in the city you can see without ticket,it's free entry.Among the masters you can see paint by Van Gogh,Francesco Hayez,Amedeo Modigliani,Edouard Manet,Paul Gauguin,Paul Cezanne,Pablo Picasso,Umberto Boccioni only to name fews.Nowdays it's used as art museum GAM (modern art gallery).In 1858 Josef Radezky viceroy of the region died here with the happiness of all citizen of Milan.

Built between 2009-2011 is the highest building in the country,is the main seat of the government of the region.The total cost was 400milions euro,it was made by the New York architect office Pei Cobb Freed & Partners

Some clear days day the whole ALPS CHAIN is clearly visible from Milan even to most far and higher peaks of Switzerland,Veneto,THE APPENNINI,Piemonte,Val D'Aosta,with a wonderful panorama.Other days as this the most closer are always visible.This is the GRIGNA GROUPS always considered the mountain of Milan.Made by dolomite rock normally it's only 1 hour  by car from the city.From the peak there's a wonderful panorama on the city and on the Po Valley,going hiking reaching the peak,during summer days,it's easy,and there's no difficulties,you can admire even the Como lake.
