WEDDING CAKE

One of my favourite subject and picture to take in the city.The fountain known as WEDDING CAKE (1936 called in local language Funtana di Spus).Built by local electric company (A.E.M.) for BENITO MUSSOLINI visit in the city to meet the ETHIOPIA's veterans.

GALFA TOWER

Time to be restored for GALFA TOWER (1956-1959).The name Galfa derived from the names of the two streets where the tower has his facades,Luigi GALvani and Gustavo FAra.

DUOMO DETAILS

Details from the DUOMO DI MILANO (1386-1932) facade over the main window.Latin written Mariae Nascenti because the cathedral church is dedicated to St. Mary of the Nativity.

GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE II

One of the many city landmarks named VICTOR EMANUEL II gallery(1865-1877),the first king of Italy.Built to connect two city landmarks PIAZZA DEL DUOMO  to PIAZZA DELLA SCALA.By archistar GIUSEPPE MENGONI (1829-1877),died falling down the roof of the gallery.Is a four story double arcade and one of the oldest world's shopping mall worldwide.

The church  of SAN BABILA form the 11 century.Considered one of the main historical church of the city is located in one of the main city centre square take the same name of the church.The church is dedicated to SAINT BABYLAS OF ANTIOCH .
